Part what makes UniverCity a great family neighbourhood is parents & caregivers supporting one another. Almost as long as our community has existed, parents here have connected with each other via the UniverCity parents' email group - now at over 375 members, and growing!
This parents and caregivers group is an online space to share ideas, make announcements, create play-dates, to ask and give advice, to sell/buy/give away kids and household items, and for thoughtful, civil and respectful discussion of issues related to parenting here in UniverCity and the larger SFU community.
New members are always welcome!
To join:
1) If you use Gmail or you email address is linked to a Google account: go to groups.google.com. Search for "UniverCity Parents" and ask to join the group. Please make sure to fill out the "reason for joining" field with information about your affiliation with UniverCity so that we can filter out spammers.
2) You can also join by emailing univercitycommunity@gmail.com.
