UniverCity residents can expect the presence of lots of firefighting crews and equipment near Burnaby Mountain this weekend.
The City of Burnaby is hosting a firefighting training event on Saturday, May 7th. Crews from multiple BC cities will be trained on tactics to protect homes in the event of a wildfire. The training is considered low impact to homes and park areas.
