The UniverCity Seniors' Meet-up Group is organized in collaboration with the UniverCity Community Association. We aim to provide a monthly occasion for seniors residing on the Mountain to meet and get to know one another.
The next meeting will be a 12 noon lunch at Biercraft, 8902 University High Street, on Tuesday, 28 June, for conversation and to decide some topics for future meetings. Please RSVP by June 21 so that we know how large a table to reserve. Email univercityseniors@gmail.com to RSVP and to let us know which weekdays work for you for our regular meeting day.
Our meetings will explore the interests of our members, including for example guided tours of SFU campus architecture, of recommended walking trails, visits to the SFU Gallery, the SFU Museum of Ethnography and other accessible art events, and talks by members or guests on topics of current interest, films or books. Each meeting will also include coffee or lunch at a selected restaurant or location.
